Bangalore Birding

You will be picked up at a venue of your choice in Bangalore and dropped back at the end of the outing. Depending on the species you would like to view, we will suggest locations and use the appropriate vehicle for the trip so that walking will be minimised.

Personal service, and getting to know each of our guests and their individual needs and interests is at the heart of what we do. We want to make sure you get the very most out of your experience.

We do our best to ensure that our South India birding trips are environment-friendly and socially responsible. A percentage of our revenue goes back to the local communities at the birding sites to ensure that the locals view conservation as a profitable venture.

Bangalore is in the state of Karnataka and is a short drive from the Western Ghats in South India where at least 16 endemics are to be found. It is also the closest International Airport for access to the Ranganathittu bird Sanctuary, Bannerghatta National Park, Rajiv Gandhi National Park (Nagarhole), Mudhumalai National Park (Bandipur/Masinagudi) and Kabini.

A weekend birding and wildlife trip out of Bangalore will take us through rural areas outside the main city and will give you a glimpse of rural village life in India. Most of our birding will be in agricultural areas, wetlands, lakes and protected forests.

Bangalore Wildlife & Nature

Bangalore is not far from the tiger sanctuaries of Nagarhole and Bandipur and we can organise wildlife safaris within the national parks. There is a good chance of spotting a tiger in the wild along with elephants and other herbivores.
